Leslie Sedibe wins landmark case against Fifa

Former South Africa Football Association (Safa) Leslie Sedibe is suing Fifa for over R70 million for a case of defamation.

[LISTEN] Interview conducted on Radio 702 between Siki Mgabadeli and David Swartz, Managing Director of SWVG Inc.

The football federation has been stripped of all its South African trademarks.

Fifa now has to hand over documents that could expose corruption and millions in kickbacks at the highest levels of government and the country’s local soccer authority.

It was an issue around match-fixing and the likes where Leslie was made a scapegoat and the fall guy. He wasn’t represented at Fifa during the disciplinary process and he wasn’t even present.

David Swartz, Managing Director at SWVG Inc.

What the decision means for Leslie is that he can now bring an application in South Africa to review the decision taken by Fifa against him.

This has had a devastating effect on his life and the truth needs to come out.
